Oh, the list can go on and on. These lovely designers emailed me their creations and it gives me such pleasure to see all the each quilt, skirt, bedding.... There must be so many more goodies out there, I'm sure.
So in honor of my 100th post on SHOW + TELL I thought I'd provide some fabrics to help with the inspiration process. I will be giving a yard each of these three Flights of Fancy fabrics, and will throw in a square (3x3 image opening) photo frame from my Paula Prass Collection.

Ooh, I just ordered some Flights of Fancy Fat Quarters (whew - that's a tongue twister!)... honestly not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, they're just pretty to look at for the moment. :)

I absolutely love that top dress, but you know, I think I would like to take on a summer tunic. I'm thinking sleevless and slightly fitted. Hmmm. I may have to go home and see what I can come up with now. I especially love the butterfly fabric.

My daughter's room is a butterfly theme, and I have been wanting to make her some fabric storage containers to hold books and toys. The plastic bins on her shelf just don't have the same appeal to me as looking at beautiful fabric like this everytime I walk in to her room. This fabric would be perfect for the project!

Let's see, I would either make summer dress for myself, or quilt a new picnic blanket (one with little pockets at the corners underneath for rocks to weigh the corners down). I've also been thinking about making a new tote and I think your fabric would be perfect.

Oh my!! All of those would be wonderful choices, but I think I'd have to make a tote, some headbands and maybe a book cover or two. Things I could use everyday and enjoy those beautiful pops of color!!

My first pieces of Flights of Fancy just arrived today and they are so pretty! If I was fortunate enough to win your giveaway I would probably make a tote for spring, possibly a skirt for my daughter, not exactly sure. WOW! Those fabrics are beautiful! If I won, I would want to make at least one skirt. Maybe two since I am really into skirts right now. And definitely some kind of bag/purse because I need as many bags as I can get. Probably something to hold my makeup in too. Oh man I am running out of fabric! I love these so much! Here's hoping....
I have 3 little girls I can make matching twirly skirts using the 3 coordinating fabrics and for my 6 yr old son I can use the green coordinating fab for a tie for him (he certainly wouldn't want a skirt and pink's not his color, LOL!) It would all look cute for an Easter pic I can put into the frame!!

Oh the ideas are flowing in my head now. I would make my daughter an adorable a line patchwork top using the fat quaters and material with a pair of little capri pants. I would also probably add a little cloth headband and macthing bag for her too.
Oh the wonderful things i could do with that. How fun!

Since I don't have any girls to sew for and I'm really into quilts right now. I would probably make a quilt or pillow out of it. Who knows I might even come up with something way more original:)

I'd use the fabric to recover the seats on the chairs on my covered front porch. The fabric is wearing and it is in need of a little funkification.

oh my gosh....color, color, color i have been dying to change the color of a bathroom in our home...guess what color it is now...wow i never thought you would have gotten that right, but you did...yes it is RED. i would love to take these colors into the bathroom to freshen it up (no pun intended)with this packet of inspiration i think i could go crazy! (my husband would probably think i did go crazy...he swore he would never ever paint the bathroom again--covering that color will be a nightmare, so he says) its up to you paula, will he or won't he! i'm so excited!

I would either make matching dresses for my two youngest girls (5 months and 21 months) - like the top one in this post (from my blog) http://fionassewing.blogspot.com/2009/02/catch-up-post-number-one.html, or perhaps peasant style skirts for my 21 month old and my 7 yr old daughters - as it is coming up to winter here and they can wear twirly skirts all year - it would add some brightness to otherwise drab clothes. I would like to design needlepoint designs that would complement the fabrics and then use the fabrics to make the design into a tote and or pillows. The frame of course would be great with small needlepoint design.

With those fun bright colors I would have to make both my girls little springy dresses. They are 3 and 4 and love to wear matching outfits so I couldn't make just one. Then I'd have to take a picture to share with you and keep in that pretty frame!

I love the fabrics and have the perfect project in mind. A neighbor who brings my daughter home everyday from volleyball practice. An apron that is handmade is just perfect for someone who gives of her time for me.

I would use this beautiful fabrics for a quilt for our Hugs Ministry at church. We make quilts and pair them with stuffies for the local fire and sheriff's departments to give to kids in crisis. I have a special project I call, "from the heart". I sew infant and maternity items which I donate, 100%, to an outreach program here in Tucson, Arizona, that seeks to help mothers-in-need at the Arizona-Mexico border. Many babies here go home from the hospital wrapped in newspaper because their parents cannot even afford receiving blankets or newborn clothes.
So what would I make with these gorgeous, uplifting fabrics? I'd make some infant bonnets to help keep the strong summer sun out of the babies' eyes with some glorious infant tops to match! Babies clothes don't need to be made in boring pastels. Vibrant colors and patterns stimulate their minds and make everyone around them feel happy! These fabric selections would certainly accomplish those goals!

Oh the possibilities! The lattice in lime is perfect for a series of mats. I have some great black and white prints and black frames for my living room and this fabric would give them punch. The pink tiles would definitely go in the guest room...maybe roman blinds? And the papillion is perfect for pillows...oooh or a library tote, or maybe an eye mask and neck pillow for flights...oh, I can't decide!
