A MIDNIGHT POST

Right now I am furious with Blogger.  I have wasted hours today and this evening just trying to do a simple post.  Haven't been able to get any pictures to download properly or at all.  Now at bedtime a totally different way to download images suddenly appeared.  So what kind of post was worth me pulling my hair out, you ask?  Nothing that important really.  It's out of pure stubborness that I  finally have 4 images to show you.   Oh, I did have some entertaining stories, but right now that would be like trying to tell a joke in the middle of an argument.  Not tonight dears.

Jennifer was on a trip she won last week with Missy.  Both of them worked with me before they took off to make millions with Stella and Dot jewelry.  Well, Missy pulled out a makeup bag and a jewelry bag made out of my fabrics.  Jennifer sent me pics from her iPhone with instructions to get to Stein Mart.  Sure enough I not only found these makeup bags (the one hanging to the left is a folded up version), but curling iron and flat iron bags!  What I couldn't find is that jewelry bag in the second photo.  The lady at Stein Mart thinks they sold out.  Well, yeah!  It was just a fun product find that I blissfully wanted to share with you all.

Then, have you seen this tut for a lingerie caddie from Sew4Home?  It's made out of Woodland Delight fabrics.  Don't they do an amazing job? I could see this used in a craft room, too.

And finally, Sew4Home did a post to remind people about the free downloadable pattern I have on my blog.

Well, there you have it.  I really had more to share, but it's past my bedtime and I don't want to push my luck. One wrong move and POOF, I could lose it all.  O, that would not be pretty, trust me.  Is anyone else having fits with Blogger?  Please say it's not just me.

  2. What's with Blogger anyway? I have quite a time getting pictures to upload too. And I have to do it one at a time. They need to go back to the way it used to be. Oh, and I think I'm gonna have to get that pattern!

  3. Hojnackes: Oh, I am so relieved! Not because blogger is so difficult, but that I'm not alone. Thank you for the sanity vote.

sewshesews: I love the word "smashing". I must use it more often.

  4. I have never actually been in Stein Mart, but I am going to go check these out. I love them.

The one thing I don't like about uploading onto blogger is that it only allows me to do 5 pictures at once.

I am glad you got it up and running. It must be a little sigh of relief.

  5. I had SERIOUS issues with Blogger today; it was not just you. Phew; I'm relieved to know it wasn't just me!

You must be tickled pink to see your fabrics in chain stores like that; congratulations! You deserve it; your fabrics, including the Woodland line (and quilt), are beautiful.

  9. NO! You are not the only one, blogger wouldn't let me upload pics all day yesterday! I finally did late last night when it seemed to be working again.

Those bags were SO cute! I don't shop at Stein Mart, but I might swing by to see if they have those there. I couldn't imagine what it must feel like to see your fabrics in a major store! Yay!!!

  14. Hi Paula...I was able to track down the jewelry bag you/your daughter were looking for and that we discussed on Twitter. Currently, Stein Mart doesn't have the item on the floor, but has a new shipment on its way that should hit stores by June. The sku for this item is 22895221. Feel free to contact a store near you or contact us at www.steinmart.com with additional questions. Hope this helps and have a great week.

  15. Oh, you store your skimpies in your craft room?? I guess I could see the lingerie caddy in your craft room too then? lol.
I just about broke my computer yesterday trying to do a blog post...2 HOURS my friend. Only to dig around on blogger to find out they were actually the ones with the problems. There is a tab on the bottom of the page called "known issues' it was in there. No one was able to upload photos. It wasn't you it was them!
    Hope all is well! xo

  16. Oh Simone, I don't know what's funnier, putting my lingerie in the craft room (mine does double as a laundry room)or the word "skimpies". Smashing Skimpies.

I regularly check for known problems on Blogger, but looked in Help this time. Humph.

    Thanks everyone. You all rock.

  18. Hi Paula, The fabrics are lovely! Try writing your posts in Windows Live Writer, it's free and much easier to work in than Blogger. You write your post drag and drop your pictures right into it from your desktop hit one button and it's all published to your existing Blogger blog. I love it. Hope all is well with you!
